Baba Harbhajan Singh served as a soldier in the Indian Army. In 1968, he
tragically passed away while on duty near the Indo–China border.
However, legends say his spirit still guides and protects Indian soldiers
posted along the rugged Himalayan terrain.
Many army men have claimed that Baba warns them of dangers in their dreams,
protects patrol teams during snowstorms, and continues to watch over the
border. These strong beliefs led the Indian Army to build a temple in his
honour, making it one of the most powerful and emotionally touching places
to visit in Sikkim.
